In this project, I focus on how New York City engages in activism, photographing the community protests surrounding anti-ICE, No War in Iran, and No Kings campaigns. I attend as many protests as possible to photograph who is coming together to support a cause they feel passionate about. Over time, I began seeing familiar faces, not only speaking out, but marching hand-in-hand, representing a community created from resistance. These issues are too important and timely for New Yorkers to put their head down and ignore. These photographs represent the safety in the community, how everyone looks out for each other and will come together to fight for what they believe is right.
